Flat Must Be Constructed with Qualified Contractors

Jakarta Governor Basuki T. Purnama said his side prefers qualified contractors for constructing flats in the capital. That is why several flat projects are canceled.

“I do not prefer reckless contractors,” he said, Friday (9/9).
His side finally join the auction of several flats. It is aimed to get big contractors for the sake of better flat construction.
Bukit Duri Residents Appealed to Move to the Flat Immediately“I join the auction to get the winner from state-owned enterprises (BUMN),” he added.
There are four flats construction canceled this year. The four locations are Cengkareng Barat by two towers, Muara Baru flat by two towers, Pondok Pinang flat by one tower, and flat to be built at former land of East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Cleanliness by two towers.
Previously, Jakarta Dept. of Public Housing and Governmental Building targeted to build 20 thousand units but only 14 thousand units to be built.
